Assistant Estimator
Assistant Estimator is an entry level position that is ideal for electrical engineering or construction management graduates as well as those who may have field or other experience and seek to learn the management side of the electrical or systems industry. Training concentrates on estimating skills and duties include:
- Assist in the review of specifications, documents and drawings to determine contractual scope of work
- Identify approved vendors/subcontractors and solicit pricing for bidding purposes
- Provide estimate take-off and input
- Assist senior estimator in preparation of cost estimates
Candidates should have a four year college degree or equivalent technical or construction related experience and the desire to work in a high energy team atmosphere.
